Keel — Privacy Policy

The short version

Keel is a personal weekly-routine app. Your plan lives on your device. If you create an account, it syncs to your account so you can keep it across devices. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and you can delete everything in-app at any time.

What we collect

Onboarding answers — the free-text answers you give about your goals, schedule, boundaries, and energy (used to build your plan).
Your plan and activity — generated schedules, edits, completed blocks, your daily Most Important Tasks, and focus-timer sessions.
Recent AI requests — the last few adjustment requests you made, so future plans respect them.
Account data (only if you sign up) — your email address, or your Google account email if you use Google sign-in. We never see your passwords (handled by Supabase) or your Google password.
Usage counters — how many AI generations/adjustments you've used in the month, to enforce fair-use limits.

We do not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or anything from other apps.

Where your data lives

On your device — always. The app works without an account.
Supabase (database & authentication) — only when you sign in; your rows are protected so only your account can read them.
Cloudflare — runs the server that handles AI requests.
Anthropic — when you generate or adjust a plan, your answers and plan are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the schedule. Per Anthropic's API terms, this data is not used to train their models.

How we use it

Only to run the product: building and adjusting your schedule, syncing it to your account, showing your streaks and stats, and enforcing fair-use limits. No advertising, no selling, no third-party analytics.

Deleting your data

Delete my account (Account screen) permanently deletes your account and all synced data — plan, answers, and history. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
Uninstalling the app removes all data stored on your device.

Security

Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). AI keys live on our server, never in the app. Database access is scoped per account (row-level security).

Children

Keel is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
